Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a resource website that I can use to search and find free backgrounds that I can use for commercial use. I will prefer if the website is well known so the chances of my computer getting infected by a virus are limited. Anyway, does anyone here know any websites that might help me?

Eli ? - I can't use Google because it contains too many copyrighted images. I want images that I can use for commercial and/or personal use.

Hmm, well the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is more of a photo site, but they may have things that can be used as backgrounds also: www.sxc.hu/I haven't really used them in a long while though, but hopefully you can find something there? |

At the very top of the page, there's a drop-down menu with lots of categories to choose from... And yes, it looks like you do have to have an account created there to actually download any images. Should still be completely free though.  Oh and they do require an address when you sign up for the account, and if you're hesitant to put that information in, I can tell you, I've been a member for several years now and I've never gotten any spam or anything like that through the mail. Looking through the abstract category really quick, it looks like they do have things that are not just photographs to be used as backgrounds. |
