Blue Ray
Sound is better, and if your TV is a newer TV, you get better graphics.

Blu-Ray as well.... it's awesome. The detail is just incredible!
It even enhances regular DVDs as well.

Though, i have found some Blue Ray 3d players, i tired one out, and i was blown away.

Blu-ray. It is better overall and most players can play both DVDs and Blue-Ray.

The 3d ones are great especially if you are into that sort of thing. I don't like watching scary movies in 3d I'm not a fan of watching anything in 3D really... the special glasses always end up tickling my nose.

Definitely blue ray! Better quality sound and graphics. But that's a given. I do own a ton of DVDs and I build up collections. I still have VHS tapes too and a VCR!
