TD Version Two

Okay, this is in the earliest stage it possibly could be, so don't get too excited, but we're starting to discuss 'Teg Designs - Version Two' and we need your help.

In particular we're looking for suggestions on what you'd like to see; not only in terms of the forum design itself, but the contents and features.

We can't guarantee we'll use all of your suggestions, but we will take them all in to consideration!

Definitely would like to see more of a design related to graphic design since this is a graphic design forum. Also maybe a side bar with stuff on it, not sure what for that though.

O.o maybe with the new version you can allow member groups. For example, a group of three or more users want to form an alliance or a group such as "Insane Crew." The leader is appointed and a staff member creates a custom group listing the leader as the leader and letting him or her add members to the group. The group would have their own colored names. Maybe even another board section for groups that can only be accessed by upper staff and the members of that group. Just an idea.

Hey mate that is an excellent idea! Can maybe have a writers club and a few design clubs, a gaming club etc!

A Store, which we have drafted, just not implemented.

With the release of V2, I plan to implement the shop below are a few other things I plan to implement:

A side Bar: The side bar will have several features. At the top will be User information, this will include each member's avatar, their username, number of posts, forum cash etc specific to that user who is online. Another section will include staff members online with a smaller version of their avatar photos. There will be a facebook and twitter button included as well. Users online now will also be shown as well as a few other things.

Classroom Upgrade: Our classroom will no longer only be for tutorials and such. If we have enough designers and design team members, the plan is to implement an actual "classroom" type setting. There will be a sub board for each of the "teachers" classes. Members will be able to sign up for these classes and complete assignments to improve their graphic design techniques. Once a member has completed the class, they will receive a graduated status, which will include a colored username for that class and a bold username.

Maybe add some games or contests like treasure hunt, word search, guess that picture etc.

I have an idea for a GFX league between crews if the crews idea is implemented. We'd need to have a bit more members or just have small crews.
