HP Probook currently. Getting a macbook pro in a few months. and I wouldn't suggest alienware. A lot of better laptops available for less price and less bulk

Yep, the only computer I own is a laptop currently. I have a really old desktop at my mom's house, but I've told her that she can go ahead and recycle that monster. My current laptop is a 15.6" ASUS with an Intel i5-3210M processor. I had to buy it when my old Lenovo's motherboard got fried, because my work solely relies on a computer and internet connection. I'm happy with it so far, it runs much faster than any laptop I've had previously!

I do own a laptop, and a desktop actually. Both are dell products and I'm a firm supporter of Dell.

My wife just bought an ACER from Walmart and it's a beast for $400. She is really happy with it.

I use both MacBook Air (13") and a MacBook Pro with Retina display. The latter is a complete breeze to use for graphic design work, but it's kind of awkward to look at sites that doesn't support high resolution. It's hard to return to using a laptop with a non-retina screen, but I just love my MacBook Air due to its light weight. It's a job to bring around my home and of course a good company during trips.
The MacBook Air is truly a good light laptop to have with you during trips. With the new 2013 spec bump, it can last up to 12 hours and that is no exaggeration. A lot of people can vouch for the amazing battery life. That's enough to last a day without the need to plug your charger.

I own a Dell XPS 17. It's powerful for both work and gaming. It has a 2nd gen i7 CPU and 8 GB of RAM. It works pretty decent, however, there are things that I dislike about it. For example, some of the keys stopped working on my laptop a couple of months ago. Not to mention that there is a battery problem (it's now showing the wrong battery percentage).

It's an ASUS. I don't know the exact model but it's a beautiful computer. Great specifications and the keyboard lights up!
