Coloring: Blues/Greens
Other Notes: I'm not very good with imagining stuff up for graphics, so I'm willing to be open! :3

Dee, I can gladly work on something. The link you provided does not lead to any sort of website, however, so I am not able to see at all what I will be working with. Will the site only be created once the banner is done, or would you like me to use certain colors and such? Blues & greens is still a veeeery wide palette.

And when you mean all video games... Would that be from any genre, meaning car racing, war games, Mario stuff, and so on? I can keep it simple and just add in something that hints towards video games, otherwise, I will need to know which video games are the most often discussed ones on the forum & such.

Sorrryyy!!! I fixed the link. Durh. I don't know what I was thinking, but it's better now. And yes, the website is dedicated to all things gaming, so it's a rather broad spectrum. As for which is most often discussed? Well, all of them, it seems at this moment. It's a relatively new forum, which is already created and going, and we have a variety of gamers.

Okay, Dee. I will use the same blue and green hues that the forum includes. It looks to me as if you forum is a lot wider than 800px though. In order for the banner to align nicely with the boards, they should be the same size. Please check under Admin -> Themes -> Advanced Styles & CSS -> Visual Editor what your forum's width is and either take it down to 800px or let me know what it currently is so I can size the banner the same.

800px looked a little too scrunched up to me, so I've made it 1000px width.

Okay, Dee. I kept the font to Helvetica only and played around with the colors a little. One of the two banners I did is very dark and will most likely not fit your forum as it is now, but I will show you anyways. The other is with a background color that I took directly from your forum, one of the darker, less saturated blue tones, but I can also make it a brighter one, a green tone, white, or anything else. Same goes for the font!

I really like both of them; however, I think I like the design of the bottom one a little bit better than I like the design of the top. I DO like the colors on the top, though, but I like how the bottom image fades into the background. It just looks a little more put together, if that makes sense.

It does. I used two completely different was of masking the image into the background. It is harder to blend images into a colored background, however, so I am not sure to what extend the bottom blend would work with the top background, but I can surely give it a go.

I was just going to say that yeah it would be more difficult to blend into a color, which is fine. I totally understand if it's just too much work, but the bottom one to me looks a little more tidy and blended together.

Okay, here are two more, one of them also with a different font color, although I actually prefer it without any green in it personally. But I can mix those up, like I said. It's the best I can do blending wise with these colors though.

Hmmm...this one's a tougher one, but I think the top one is winning. I just...I kinda wish there was a little more darker of a contrast in the image, like...a mix between both. xD I know, I am so picky! T_T But I agree with you about the green. I am not a fan of that either. a lighter color or the kind of font in the bottom image would be perfect.

So, what you are saying is you want the font color from the second one and then a mixture between the top and bottom for the characters' contrast?

Exactly. Not too light but not too dark. Possibly even on the more lighter side, but a little darker than what it is now.
