Needed a new wallpaper...

So here's the most recent thing I've made, graphic-wise.

It's a very simple wallpaper, inspired by my relationship and a favorite lyric of mine that reminds me of him, as it was made close to Valentine's Day I needed something new for my laptop, was tired of the ones I'd been using lately.

Text is usually the most difficult part of graphics. But the fonts and placements of text are perfect. I like how you added to it with a grey graphic behind the text up top and purple outlining around the bottom text.

Great combination of smudging and splatter/scan line brushing. Only part that needs some work is the big white splatter above your head to the left. Could use some purple smudging over it, it kind of sticks out to much. Aside from that, it looks great.

Aw, thank you Yeah I see what you mean about that white part. If I saved the .psd file, maybe I'll play around with it more.

I wasn't entirely sure about that bar graphic underneath the top text at first, but it seemed like I needed to do something to bring out that text as a sort of "title" and that was the result.

But yeah, I had to buy a new laptop about a month ago, so of course, I lost all of the loaded brushes in Photoshop that I had on my old computer, so this was also just me playing around with those smudge/splatter brushes after reloading them in.

As always I love it. I especially like the splatter effect of the background and how it looks like the edges are popping out. You have done much better in the past with typography, so please don't mind my saying that I don't particularly like the font used here But as usual keep up the good work and keep making graphics, I love to see all thing quirky things you come up with.

The wallpaper looks awesome. Text nicely fits with the images, however, I'm not really a fan of the dotted pattern above the italic text to the bottom that says, "with you" (the pattern is above the word, "you").

Thanks And yes, it is. We were up in Oregon at Mt Ashmore in the snow, it was soooo beautiful! Though his smile's a little odd, reminds me of Elvis Presley every time I see it.

jason, thank you also! Is it because that dotted pattern's too "girly" (  ) or did you think it doesn't fit with the rest of the graphic?

I don't think it fits in nicely with the design. However, that's just my opinion. 
If it had hearts and stuff like that, then yeah, I'd think it was girly, lol (but it's not really girly).
